Aishwarya Rai-Kajol tops list of most popular daughter- in- law
The day is the 8th of March, and it s marked as the International Day for women. What is more important is that it makes a woman feel special.
On this particular day. However, if one is an achiever in one’s chosen field of work then there are bound to be comparisons.
What we are talking about is that news is pouring in about how popular Kajol has become after marriage as a great daughter- in- law.
According to buzz there was a survey regarding the most popular daughter- in- law. There were 250,000 women who took part in it.
According to the results, about 43.08% voted for Kajol as being the favorite daughter- in –law of bollywood. Aishwarya was a second choice.
There was a long list of the bollywood bahuranis or daughter- in- laws from the film fraternity. Names like Malaika Arora Khan wife of Arbaaz Khan (Salman’s Brother)
Gauri Khan Shahrukh’s wife, Madhuri Dixit the all time favorite actress of bollywood now married to Dr. Nene, Twinkle Khanna wife of Akshay Kumar, and Kiran Rao wife of Aamir Khan.
Now, whether first on the list of favorites or not, these are all names of some of the women achievers of our bollywood, and we wish all of them and all women of the globe a very very happy ‘Woman’s Day’. May every day of the year belong to women!

Will Akshay-Aishwarya’s romantic song be dropped?
Vipul Shah’s schedules for Action Replay seem to be going awry for no fault of any body’s. First it was his principal actors’ choc-a-block schedules that delayed the film. Now when the film had just two more songs to be filmed, Vipul is again left high and dry, and this time it’s the weather god who is to be blamed.
The song was to be shot in Manali. “And who would have thought there would be snow in Manali in February? It has never happened before!” marvels Vipul.
“We had planned the whole song schedule for a time when we were sure there would be no inclement weather. When we got to know there was heavy snowfall we were stunned. There was no way we could shoot,” says Vipul who now needs to find alternative dates for the Manali song.
Vipul!! rather than delaying the release of the film further, you may drop the song completely..

Aishwarya Rai sizzles again in 'Jodhaa Akbar' deleted scene video
UTV Motion Pictures have posted a 25min 44sec video with deleted scenes from their 2008 period drama Jodhaa Akbar, headlining Hrithik Roshan as Akbar and Aishwarya as his queen Jodha.
Introducing the video, helmer Ashutosh Gowariker explains that the only reason that the scenes were left out was because the film had to be limited to 3 hours, not because the scenes weren't an essential part of the narrative.
So here is your chance to see what theatre and multiplex owners wouldn't let you see earlier - the rest of the narrative, and it's free of cost to boot. It is also your chance to remind yourself how beautiful Aishwarya, and how hunky Hrithik looked in the film.
The voice and video were not coordinated in some of the scenes that we viewed, which is unfortunate.

Aishwarya Rai's Husband Celebrate 34th Birthday
Abhishek Bachchan, who will be shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Crooked’ instead of going on a holiday to celebrate the auspicious occasion, wants this to happen for the simple reason that he would be able to spend more time with Ash.
Another reason is said to be his belief that after working together in films like ‘Guru’, ‘Sarkar Raj’ and now Mani Rathnam’s upcoming ‘Raavan’, they have developed a terrific working chemistry and that helps them in performing to their potential on the sets. Though generally Aishwarya Rai takes leave from her shooting schedules and comes to be with Abhishek Bachchan on the sets of his films, if he was shooting, but this time Abhi is not sure and hopes to meet her at home after completing his work on the sets of ‘Crooked’.
Besides being excited about Aishwarya Rai, the junior Bachchan also feels ecstatic about his television show ‘Bingo Night’, which has been doing fine so far. In fact, the first episode had crossed the TRP ratings of even Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan’s TV shows and showed a TRP rating of 5.1.
As far as films are concerned, Abhishek Bachchan is eagerly awaiting the release of his film ‘Raavan’, which features him opposite Aishwarya Rai once again. The film is being directed by Mani Rathnam, who had earlier directed AbhiAsh super duper hit flick ‘Guru’. His other films include ‘Khelein hum jee jaan se’ and ‘The Italian Job’.

Aishwarya Rai to debut small screen
Amitabh Bachchan invaded your living rooms when he forayed into television and anchored the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. He again proved his dominance and mastery over his craft when he got involved in the Colors’ ‘Bigg Boss’. His son Abhishek Bachchan followed suit and is now anchoring a game show ‘Bingo’ in Colors. And, the latest hearsay is that now it’s turn of the Bachchan Bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to embark on her small-screen journey.
Reports have been doing the rounds that the ‘Most Beautiful Woman on Earth’ is going to host a chat show Colors and thus launch her TV debut.
A source quips, “Right from the time they signed Amitabh Bachchan for Bigg Boss, the channel had decided to have Abhishek and Aishwarya as well.” Despite her gruelling work-schedule, Ash, reportedly, has given her nod even though her spokesperson has dismissed such news.
Right now, the logistics are being formatted to give the show a fresh appeal. And the hugely-demanded Aishwarya will, undoubtedly, charged.

Aishwarya put on white Wig in"Action replay"
Shahrukh Khan became a 70-year-old for a Dish TV commercial last year,Now it's Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's and Akshay Kumar's turn to put on a wig for a movie!
Ash is set to take on the part of an old lady for a few scenes in Vipul Shah's upcoming project "Action Replay" about a man who travels backwards in time to the 70s when he was young and handsome. The former Miss World will get a drastic makeover with the help of Hollywood makeup artists.
And her co-star Akshay Kumar will not avoid the big old wig either as he will play the time-traveling man! Hollywood's best makeup artists have worked hard to create a special wig for the sporty actor and we hear it's a real piece of art!
So is the acting duo ready for their 70s style close ups? Well, according to director Vipul Shah, Ash and Akshay have watched TV from that era to get into character:
"Since we haven't copied our 1970s look from Hindi films, Akshay and Aishwarya sat down to look at real-life footage from the decade to get the look right. They specially looked at television footage of live cricket matches in the 1970s. Akshay was busy peering at the pavilion of spectators, what they wore, how they spoke moved their body language. That's how he conceived his character in the 70," Shah told reporters.
Well we can't wait to see the result of all those hours spent in front of a mirror with makeup artists!
The film is set to hit theaters in April and also stars Randhir Kapoor. Are you excited to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's and Akshay Kumar's 70s style makeovers in "Action Replay?"

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is unwell
Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are looking after Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai who is down with high fever and has been advised bed rest by doctors.
"Aishwarya has come back from the shoot in pain and distress. Doctors called, investigation done and medication registered to settle issues down, but it persists," Amitabh Bachchan, posted on his blog Bigb..
Explaining the condition of his daughter-in-law, the Big B wrote: "There is high fever and an infection in the throat, cannot talk, cannot swallow. Sad and so concerned to see her in such a condition. Abhishek has been summoned from his shoot as Jaya and I attend to her."
Aiswarya was shooting for Vipul Shah's "Action Replay" in Manori in northern Mumbai and returned home with high fever.
Abhishek attended to his wife, but had to rush for his shooting schedule.
"The morning was spent with a rather unwell wife. But, work calls so off (to) the shoot for 'Crooked'," Abhishek wrote on his Twitter.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the gorgeous daughter- in-law of Amitabh Bachchan and wife of handsome hunk Abhishek Bachchan who had been suffering from high fever after shooting for Vipul Shah’s upcoming flick ‘Action Replay’, is back on track to recuperation.
Aishwarya was administered some antibiotics and she responded well to treatment and now fast recovering. In fact, the lady has come out of that state when she could not swallow food or feeling trouble while talking. Now, she can do all these things and more, as Abhishek Bachchan, her loving husband, has been attending on her after taking leave from the shooting of his film ‘Crooked’.
Even Amitabh Bachchan, who has been busy these days in promoting his flick ‘Teen Patti’, chose to stay away from his busy schedule and attend on his ‘Pari’(Big B calls his daughter- in- law ‘Pari’ in the house). Sources close to Bachchan household say that it was during the Manori spell of Vipul Shah’s flick ‘Action Replay’ opposite Khiladi Akshay Kumar that Aishwarya felt uncomfortable and returned home with illness.
However, now Aishwarya Rai is fine and responding to treatment efficiently. In fact, Abhishek Bachchan even joked about her in his posts on twitter by saying that all the credits should not go to antibiotics, and in fact, it should be shared by innumerable well- wishers of the actress who sent their good wishes for her.

Aishwarya Visits Naniji inspite of being ill
The ever glowing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is so much attched to her family relationships, that even though she was not well, she travelled to Bhopal to celebrate her hubby Abhishek’s grandmother’s (nani) 80th birthday party.
Long time ago the couple had a made a commitment to Abhishek’s nani (maternal grandmother) to visit to Bhopal for her birthday, this was according to a source close to Aishwarya.
Inspite of having high fever and sore throat from a few days she didn’t let her promise down and she was there to fulfil her promise.
Abhishek posted on his social networking site Twitter that “Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she’s my nani’s favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit… in a day or two,” .
The actor says his grandmother’s expression on seeing both of them was “priceless”.

Aishwarya Bachchan ay Rann Premiere
Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai posed for the shutter bugs during the premiere of his movie Rann. Both men wore crisp suits and Aishwarya wore a golden and black anarkali.
Big B got emotional during the premiere when he recived great applause from the audience during the screening of the movie.
Big B wrote on his blog,”I cannot remember it happening to me in recent times, nor in times past, an audience applause in the middle of my film, at the end of a scene or dialogue. But it happened tonight at the premier of Rann.”
“A thunderous and prolonged applause at the end of a scene that I perform towards the end of the film, moved me to tears.”
Looks like Rann has turned out to be a great movie.

Aishwarya Rai to get colored in Action Replay
Recently, Vipul Shah was to shoot Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s entry sequence for Action Replay, which is a holi song. He had visualised the song as an exotic affair with lots of water and colour in every frame. In fact, Vipul had prepared visuals of the song with a specialised camera. But the preparations were later called off when the filmmaker realised they should not waste so much water, given that the city was facing a water crisis.
Vipul Shah was very forthcoming about his change of heart. “Yes it is true that we are not going ahead with the earlier planned water sequence in the holi song as we would have used at least 70-80 tankers of water for the three day shoot. It is an elaborate song with 500 extras and 150 dancers involved. I was very excited about it but then realised the magnitude of the water scarcity the city is facing. Aishwarya also opined that we should not go ahead with the plan. Both of us were on the same page on this. We have now decided to shoot it in a different way. The entire visual of the song has been reworked - it will still be a holi song but without water. It will be completely dry.”

Padma Lakshmi More Desirable than Aishwarya
Supermodels Padma Lakshmi and Lakshmi Menon have beaten Indian actresses Aishwarya Rai and Freida Pinto in a most desirable women poll conducted by a portal.
According to the top 99 women poll by askmen.com, Padma Lakshmi has grabbed the 15th spot while Menon sits at the 45th position leaving behind Slumdog Millionaire star Pinto and former Miss World Aishwarya in 50th and 63rd positions respectively.
"I am delighted that the readers of this portal have chosen to include me on their list. I am extremely flattered," the website quoted Padma as saying.
Beating all of them, however, is Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui, who tops the list. It also features singer Beyonce Knowles at sixth position, Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and Tranformers star Megan Fox at seventh and 11th spots respectively.
After a six-week long voting period, six million votes decided the ranking of these beautiful women.

Sarah Jane Miss India Replace Aishwarya Rai in Cro...
Looks like things are finally turning up for Farhan-Ritesh's upcoming flick 'Crooked'.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was supposed to play the protogonist in the film, has finally opted out from the cast because of her date issues and a newcomer Sarah Jane has been finalised to play the same.
Initially, the film 'Crooked' casted the miya-biwi Abhishek Bachchan and his second half Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the lead opposite each other. However, Aishwarya opted out later because of her dates issue. After her exit was confirmed, Farhan Akhtar decided to go on with a new face for the vaccant plot to be cast opposite Bachchan.
If reports are to be believed, Sarah Jane, the former Miss India (2007) has been confirmed to step into the role that was earlier going to be played by the Bachchan bahu.
